Everything is set for the opening round of the season, this weekend at the Misano World Circuit

After celebrating its succesful 10 years of history last year, everything is ready for the new edition of the Italian F.4 Championship, starting on May 4th and 5th in Misano Adriatico. The eleventh edition of the single-seater series organized by ACI Sport and WSK Promotion starts with the best premises, with 37 drivers from 25 different nations, fielded by 12 Teams, ready to compete in the first of 7 seasonal rounds.

The entry list, still provisional pending the day dedicated to administrative and technical checks, includes a duo composed of Italian Emanuele Olivieri and Ukrainian Oleksander Savinkov representing the San Marino-based team AKM Motorsport, owned by Marco and Andrea Kimi Antonelli. A single car fielded for the Slovenian team AS Motorsport, featuring Spanish-English roots driver Edward Robinson. For the Italian team BVM Motorsport, Czech Republic driver Jan Koller will be present. Also, a single representative for the Italian team CRAM Motorsport, fielding Indian driver Kai Daryanani at Misano.

There will be 4 cars from Switzerland based Team Jenzer Motorsport, with Swiss drivers Ethan Ischer and Enea Frey, followed by Dutch Franco Reno and Hong Kong driver Shimo Zhang.

Also, representing Switzerland, Maffi Racing Team fields Swiss Nathaniel Berreby and Venezuelan Gabriel Holguin to the track. A five-car formation for the German team PHM AIX Racing, with Italian driver Davide Larini, Maksimilian Popov, American Everett Stack, Serbian Andrej Petrovic, and Australian Kamal Mrad.

6 cars ready for the Italian Team Prema Racing, with Emirati Rashid Al Dhaheri, UK driver Freddie Slater, Latvian Tomass Stolcermanis, Dion Gowda from UK, Japanese Kean Nakamura Berta, and Jamaican-American Alex Powell eager to start. The French Team R-ace Grand Prix fields a duo consisting of Chinese driver Enzo Yeh and Finnish Luka Sammalisto. 2 cars also for the Romanian Team Real Racing, experiencing their first time in the Italian Championship, with the duo Luca Viisoreanu and Andrei Duna, both from Romania.

There will be 6 representatives from the German team US Racing, with Brazilian Matheus Ferreira, Australian Gianmarco Pradel, Singaporean driver Kabir Anurag, Indo-American Akshay Bohra, Australian Jack Beeton, and German Maxim Rehm. Finally, 5 cars lined up by the Dutch Team Van Amersfoort Racing, with Japanese Hiyu Yamakoshi, Serbian Andrija Kostic, Swede Gustav Jonsson, Italian driver Alvise Rodella, and Dutch Lin Hodenius.

The timetable

The weekend schedule includes the first contact with the track already on Thursday, May 2nd, with 2 collective test sessions starting from 9:00 to 11:00 and again from 14:15 to 16:15. On Friday, May 3rd, free practice sessions in the morning, from 8:40 to 9:20, and from 11:55 to 12:35; then qualifying in the evening in two 15-minute sessions starting at 16:50 and 17:15. On Saturday, May 4th, the first race of the year starts at 11:30 for 30’+ 1 lap. Race 2 (30’ + 1 lap) it is scheduled as well on Saturday evening at 17:45. Finally, on Sunday, May 5th, the last race of the first ACI Racing Weekend of the season will start at 11:00, always for 30’ + 1 lap.

Open paddock and free entry complete the great motorsport celebration of the first ACI Racing Weekend of the season at the Misano World Circuit, in an extraordinary event that will see almost 200 cars on track for 15 races throughout the weekend.
